Alondra de la Parra conducts Viva la Zarzuela! — With Rolando Villazón and Serena Sáenz

The Festival Paax GNP offers an immersive journey into the best symphonic music and dance, performed by world-class soloists. Created by Alondra de la Parra in 2022, the festival’s fifth edition lights up with the Zarzuela Gala: ¡Viva la Zarzuela!, a celebration of Spain's beloved lyrical tradition. Sensational soloists Serena Sáenz and Rolando Villazón join forces with the extraordinary Impossible Orchestra and the Madrid Community Orchestra and Choir, under the dynamic direction of founder and artistic director Alondra de la Parra. A cutting-edge program awaits, from the majesty of Ruperto Chapi’s Preludio “El tambor de granaderos” to the sparkling romanticism of Manuel Penella’s Duo de Solea y Rafael “El gato montes.”
