Program notes

Live from the gorgeous Verbier Church, meet one of the biggest sensations of the 2022 Verbier Festival: the prodigious young pianist Tsotne Zedginidze, born in 2009! The astonishing young virtuoso begins his recital with one of his own compositions, Dolorem. Next he performs excerpts from Claude Debussy's mysterious, impressionistic Preludes, an emblematic work that has contributed significantly to the composer's reputation and legacy, before moving on to Bartók's Out of Doors. The prodigy closes out his concert with another delightful piece of his own, Printemps, a final demonstration of the remarkable self-assurance and vision of this young star.
