True virtuosos of the contemporary Cuban scene, the musicians of El Comité come together to offer the Toulouse Festival a program especially designed for the occasion. Among them is pianist Rolando Luna, whose performance in 2023—marked by a vibrant tribute to the Buena Vista Social Club—has already delighted audiences.
A guest at the biggest jazz festivals, El Comité lights up the Tolouse stage with the rich vibrancy and character of Havana. Their music, created outside the limits of traditional Cuban music, blends the mesmerizing rhythms of rumba and cha-cha-cha with accents of funk and broken beat.
