Founded in 2014 by trumpeter Sheila Maurice-Grey and percussionist Onome Edgeworth, the eight-member Kokoroko was already a familiar name on the London jazz scene when their song "Abusey Junction" was featured on the compilation We Out Here by Brownswood Recordings.
