Spanish conductor Pablo Heras-Casado has been praised by The New York Times as "the thinking person's idea of a hotshot young conductor", and by the San Francisco Chronicle as "[shaping] everything he touches with delicacy and respect." Heras-Casado's master class of Historical Performance and Vocal Arts features performances of duets from Claudio Monteverdi's opera L'incoronazione di Poppea, and arias from Georg Friedrich Handel's secular cantata Agrippina condotta a morire, HWV 110.
