For the second year in a row, discover the charismatic mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato in three public master classes given in the Resnick Education Wing at Carnegie Hall!
Following the success of Joyce DiDonato’s master classes webcast on medici.tv last year, Carnegie Hall and medici.tv offer you the opportunity to discover three new master classes with the world famous mezzo-soprano. Over the course of three days, she mentors four young opera singers, rehearsing solos and duets in Carnegie Hall’s Resnick Education Wing. This year’s participants are Amalia Avilán Castillo (soprano), Miya Higashiyama (mezzo-soprano), Daniel Moody (countertenor), and Anthony Robin Schneider (bass), joined by pianists Justina Lee and Adam Nielsen.
Workshops and master classes are offered through Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute, providing unique opportunities for young professional musicians to explore many aspects of musical life. Participants delve into repertoire and gain insight and tools to nurture their artistic vision by working alongside the highest-caliber artists. They also learn how to communicate and connect with audiences, building a sense of community to last throughout their careers.
Workshops and master classes are made possible, in part, by Mr. and Mrs. Nicola Bulgari and The Gladys Krieble Delmas Foundation.
The Joan and Sanford I. Weill Music Room is located on the Lily and Edmond J. Safra Education Floor of the Judith and Burton Resnick Education Wing.
