She's got a Bachelor of Music from Korea National University, and studied with Myung-Wha, Chung, Hyoungwon Chang, and Kangho Lee; She graduated from the Yale University with a Master of Music and Master of Musical of Arts with Aldo Parisot. She has played at numerous festivals including the Seiji Ozawa Music Academy Orchestra Asian Tour (Japan and China), the Great Mountain Music Festival (Korea). She has performed as principal cellist of the Yale Philharmonia, working with Peter Oundjian and Carolyn Kuan. She has also worked as a youngest guest member of Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, working with Myung-Whun, Chung. Her musical development has been furthered in masterclasses with Jian Wang, Ole Akahoshi, BongshinKo, Tillman Wick, Kirill Rodin, Shauna Rolston and Emilio Colon.
Prizes: First Prize at the Strad Journal, New Music Talents competition, Korea Music Association competition, the Music Chunchu Journal, and Second Prize at the Kookmin times, Korea Electronic Power Corporation Arts Center competition.
