The radiant dancers of the Scottish Ballet bring to life a plethora of fascinating characters including the Nutcracker, Zac the Head of the Bandits, two acrobats and the Sugar Plum Fairy atop a score comprising iconic music by composers such as Rimsky-Korsakov and Tchaikovsky, as well as new pieces by composer, Frank Moon and recorded live by the Scottish Ballet Orchestra.
A young, wandering boy in a deserted village discovers a seemingly abandoned theater with a secret inside: as he enters, the stage fills with light and lively characters as a spectacle full of magic, circus, dance and music comes to life in front of his very eyes…
