Program notes

Awarded since the age of 7 by multiple piano competitions and public awards, German-Japanese Alice Sara Ott is live on medici.tv for the second time – following a piano recital at the Auditorium du Louvre in February 2010.

At the age of 13 she was already well into international music competitions, carrying away "The Most Promising Artist Award" at the Hamamatsu Competition, Japan. She also triumphed in 2010 with the London Symphony Orchestra when she replaced Lang Lang on short notice. She will perform a recital in Verbier's church where she will play Schubert's Sonata in D Major and the famous Pictures at an Exhibition by Moussorgsky.
