Don't miss the grand finale of the Donatella Flick LSO Conducting Competition, live from LSO St. Luke's in London! Founded in 1990, this competition puts the spotlight on talented young conductors and helps launch their promising careers to new heights. Twenty young up-and-coming artists were shortlisted for this 2023 edition, and three finalists have made it to the last stage…
As the competition approaches its conclusion, Jiří Habart (Czechia), Jakub Przybycień (Poland), and Nicolò Foron (Germany / Italy) have the incredible opportunity to conduct the London Symphony Orchestra in an exciting program full of emotion and dynamism: the famed Prelude from Wagner's Tristan und Isolde, Grieg's spirited Peer Gynt suites, and programmatic masterpiece that is Berlioz's Symphonie fantastique. These young talents couldn't ask for a better program to show what they've got at the head of one of the world's greatest orchestras!
