Known for “his smiles, his joy, his communicative jubilation” (Bachtrack), the conductor Gábor Takács-Nagy's brilliant interpretation of Haydn at the 2018 Verbier Festival left a lasting impression on its listeners. All the more reason for the 2019 Verbier audience's excitement at his return with this concert of masterpieces by Haydn and Bartók highlighting the talents of the virtuoso pianist Sir András Schiff.
