Program notes

Living legend Martha Argerich headlines another edition of Les Coups de Cœur à Chantilly, featuring a selection of her favorite piano and chamber works performed at the stunning Château de Chantilly! For this very special occasion, Argerich joins her daughter Lyda Chen, her ex-husband Stephen Kovacevich, and a lineup of extremely talented friends (including Edgar Moreau, the festival's Artistic Director Iddo Bar-Shaï, Tehila Nini Goldstein, and Theodosia Ntokou) in a carefully chosen set of pieces for piano, chamber groups, and voice—including sweeping Romantic works by Debussy, Hebrew and Judeo-Spanish melodies (featuring a French premiere with Goldstein and Ntokou), and perennial favorites Liebeslied and Schön Rosmarin by Kreisler.

The Coups de Cœur à Chantilly take place under the patronage of Prince Amyn Aga Khan with the generous support of Aline Foriel-Destezet and encouragement of the Fondation AG2R la Mondiale. Organized by the Association MUSICA PNINA.
