Michael Francis conducts Brahms, Shor, and Beethoven — With Stella Chen

The bright mind that taught the likes of Mozart is also the inspiration behind Alexey Shor’s Violin Concerto Phantasms, our second work of the night, performed impeccably by virtuoso Stella Chen. One masterpiece follows another and the concert ends with Beethoven’s immortal Fifth Symphony, in a version edited by Gustav Mahler!
