Plácido Domingo, Gustavo Dudamel, Jonas Kaufmann, Juan Diego Flórez, Sonya Yoncheva…the classical music scene’s greatest come together at Milan’s La Scala for an exceptional gala soirée! All Rolex ambassadors, they perform some of the most beautiful opera arias ever composed accompanied by the Wiener Philharmoniker under the direction of star tenor Plácido Domingo and maestro Gustavo Dudamel.
Verdi’s La forza del destino, Donizetti’s L’élixir d’amour, and Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette are just a few of the love duets and lyric flights of fancy woven together in this Romantic program brought to life by some of the greatest voices of our time. The virtuoso pianist Yuja Wang joins them for a performance of Schumann’s Piano Concerto. A historic evening in more ways than one!
