Early in 2016, Diego Fasolis was at the helm of a triumphant production of Handel's oratorio Il Trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno at Milan’s Teatro alla Scala. This documentary takes us to the heart of the theater to learn about this groundbreaking collaborative project.
Fasolis conducts an orchestra that brings together members of two great ensembles: I Barocchisti and the La Scala Philharmonic Orchestra. The musicians expand their knowledge of historical instruments and learn about performance practices of Handel's time.
