The indisputable chemistry of pianist Alfio Origlio and guitarist Sylvain Luc shines through with sincere laughter and mischievous eye contact, as they perform some great jazz standards on the stage of the Jazz Club de Grenoble!
“The idea is to be as deeply rooted in the music as possible, to generate emotions. That's the only thing I'm interested in. I don't want to stun people. Considered one of the guitar prodigies of modern jazz, winner of the Prix Django-Reinhardt, and a close collaborator of Biréli Lagrène, Sylvain Luc plays his guitar with an incomparable dexterity, which doesn't overshadow the genuine sensitivity of his interpretations. For this concert, he is joined by Alfio Origlio, pianist and composer who has won a Victoires du jazz award and is known for having played alongside some of the greatest names in the genre, including Salif Keïta, Manu Katché, Gregory Porter, and Henri Salvador. A true jack-of-all-trades, Origlio doesn't stop at jazz. Over the years, he has conquered the electro-pop scene, drawing his influences from world music. With humility, humor, and infinite delicacy, these two artists offer a delightful melodic concert of rare virtuosity and sublime lightness.
