Cory Wong, the American jazz-funk composer and guitarist, performs as part of the 2023 Jazzopen Festival in Stuttgart ! A member of the american funk band Vulfpeck since 2016, he has already composed over fifteen albums, and is now considered one of the great artists leading the modern jazz scene. He is joined by his musicians to perform some of his personal favorites on the festival stage, from albums such as The Stripped Album and Motivational Music for The Syncopated Soul. For over an hour, traditional jazz instruments play alongside retro synthesizers and energetic funk guitars. Strongly influenced by electronic music, Cory Wong offers his audience a unique and vibrant show.
