Program notes

On the stage of the Olympia, Paris, in 1963, the great American singer Ella Fitzgerald and the Canadian pianist Oscar Peterson performed the great jazz classics with ease and skill.

The programme included "But Not for Me," performed by trumpeter Roy Elridge, as well as "In a mellow tone," performed beautifully by Ella along with "It's crazy," "Running wild," "Just one of those things" and "Take the A train," accompanied by the Oscar Peterson Trio.
