Over the years, composer and pianist Shahin Novrasli has created a unique musical universe that combines the “Mugham” of his native country, Azerbaijan, and American jazz. In this concert, the prodigy showcases a program that represents these eclectic influences, combining original compositions and jazz standards. Accustomed to collaborations with high-flying artists such as Ari Hoenig, Nathan Peck, as well as his mentor and friend Ahmad Jamal, Shahin Novrasli dazzles us on his own over the course of this solo recital on the stage of the sublime Louis Vuitton Foundation, in Paris.
