A mischievous quintet for strange musical bedfellows by Prokofiev, a trio inspired by eastern dance melodies with jazzy inflections by Bartók, and an exceptionally beautiful German Romantic trio by Brahms make for a riveting masterclass with the virtuoso clarinettist Anthony McGill. Students from The Juilliard School, the Manhattan School of Music, and the Yale School of Music demonstrate their considerable talents and receive musical advice from the very best, growing as artists and performers before the eyes of an enthusiastic audience.
