Concurso de Ginebra 2022: Semifinal de piano (Recital solista)

The Concours de Genève, founded in 1939 as the Concours International d'Exécution Musicale (CIEM), is one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious international music competitions. With the aim to discover, promote, and support young talented artists on the way to an international career, the Concours de Genève also has the distinction of spotlighting different disciplines in every edition. In 2022, pianists and composers have the chance to compete for the top prizes!

In this first semi-final piano round, discover the nine remaining promising pianists—aged 16-28 and representing six different countries—in a solo recital that allows them to show their mettle in a variety of piano repertoire from the 18th century through the 20th. The competitors chosen to move on to the final round will take the stage at Geneva's famed Victoria Hall for a concerto performance with the world-class Orchestre de la Suisse Romande under the direction of Maržena Diakun.
