Lucas Debargue — Pianista

Sobre el programa...

"When I discovered this music a few years ago, it went straight down my spine!", that is what virtuoso Lucas Debargue told us when he recorded this collection of Fauré's solo piano work. In celebration of the centenary of this emblematic figure of French classical music, who died on November 4, 1924, rediscover these treasures of the repertoire, played by one of its most remarkable interpreters. Debargue calls on all the subtleties of his playing, tinged with poetry and dazzling by its technical perfection, in service of these masterworks!

Over the course of this first instalment, the French pianist opens the ball with enchanting Nocturne No. 7 in C sharp major, Op. 74, followed by the 9 Preludes, Op. 103. In a program that includes the Valse-caprice No. 1, Debargue also performs his own arrangement of the sumptuous Cantique de Jean Racine, as well as a Menuet triste of his own composition. If, like us, you can't get enough of Debargue's stellar playing, hurry up and discover the second part of this program...
