Only at the Verbier Festival do we get the chance to treat ourselves to the classical super groups of our dreams in the highly anticipated Rencontres inédites (Unprecedented encounters) series—here's one not to miss from the festival's 30th anniversary edition!
This evening brings together superstars Yuja Wang at the piano, Renaud Capuçon on the violin, and Klaus Mäkelä on the cello for a heart-rending performance of Schubert's Trio in E-flat, Op. 100—one of the gems of the chamber repertoire whose haunting Andante has featured in multiple series and films, including Kubrick's Barry Lyndon.
