Sobre el programa...
Maryse Delente was trained as a dancer at the Bordeaux conservatoire. Later, she entered the Capitole de Toulouse, the Royal Ballet of Walloons and became soloist at the Ballet National of the Opéra de Lyon. She founds her company in 1986 in Vaulx-en-Velin. From 1995 to 2003 she directed the company of the Ballet du Nord at the Centre Chorégraphique in Roubaix.
Through interviews and excerpts of her shows "Nous n'irons plus au bois" with her troop in Roubaix we can enter the daily life of the company. Maryse Delente expresses her interest for the human above all. She constructs her choreographies like a painter, freely picking her elements from different classic and contemporary techniques, in an unsettling way. Her style could be called neo-classic. The motive and the guiding line in her creations is a constant look at her dancers and a permanent desire to make emotions spring from the stories she tells.
