Richard Bona en Stuttgart

Cameroon-born American bassist and singer Richard Bona shines on the stage of Stuttgart's 2023 edition of the Jazzopen Festival. The award-winning artist began his career in Paris, where he played in the legendary jazz clubs of the French capital, before becoming the protégé of Harry Belafonte in New York. There, he performed alongside such greats as Herbie Hancock, Paul Simon, Queen Latifah, and John Legend. Now a leading man in his own right, he invites us to this concert with pianist Michaël Lecoq, drummer Nicolas Viccaro, guitarist Circo Manna, and trumpeter Alex Hérichon, which begins in style with his captivating song "Kalabancoro".
