Jorge Rossy Vibes Quintet feat. Mark Turner in Zurich

Through their playing of some formidable traditional jazz, Jorge Rossy and his quintet entertain the patrons of the Moods Club. Originally a rhythm and keys player, he made his name as part of Brad Mehldau’s stunning trio from 1993 to 2006. This performance was filmed in 2017 and demonstrates the outstanding musicianship of Rossy and his other band members.

For this concert, Rossy invites saxophonist Mark Turner, who is not only known for his amazingly technical and refined playing, but also for his legendary collaborations with Mehldau, Joshua Redman, as well as many more of his contemporaries. our sole disappointment is that we can only witness this exceptional group of musicians perform together for one breathtaking evening.
