George Li: The Paris Interview

On the occasion of his first solo recital in Paris, medici.tv has interviewed George Li (Silver Medal at the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition) at the Louvre auditorium!

The interview revolves around Paris. George Li reacts to a selection of symbols which often represent Paris and the French culture: a CD of Ravel, a book by Pierre Boulez (who had just passed away and to whom the recital was dedicated), a miniature of the Eiffel Tower... and a croissant! "You know it's Paris when you land here... It has its own distinct culture and character, which I really love," he says.

The first solo recital of George Li in Paris took place on January 14 and was broadcast live on medici.tv. It is now available in replay.
