After his legendary work with Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers, the Second Miles Davis Quintet, and Weather Report, legendary jazz saxophonist Wayne Shorter formed the Wayne Short Quartet with bassist John Patitucci, pianist Danilo Perez, and drummer Brian Blade.
