Program notes
From the world-famous Château de Chantilly comes another spectacular edition of Les Coups de Cœur à Chantilly, which allows world-class artists to design and perform a program near and dear to their hearts in a truly regal setting! Enjoy the refinement and precision of Les Talens Lyriques, known for their exquisite renderings of lesser-known works from the Baroque through the early Romantic period, alongside their acclaimed founder Christophe Rousset — and joined here by four world-class soloists and the Namur Chamber Choir for a program centered around Rameau's beloved Les Indes galantes. Also on the program are virtuosic and rarely heard pieces by early 18th-century harpsichordist and composer Pancrace Royer.
